, but Vatican does the opposite, at least when it comes to their web site.
Together with Catholicism in a real world, Vatican web site is constantly under attacks of hackers, fortunately without any success, so far. But Vaticans web site is hacked by their own creators, making it almost unusable – it is almost completely made out of images! Look what happens to web site if you are unfortunate enough to read it without images – it is blank!
What happened to the power of the Word, what about accessibility, what about those who have poor eyesight or use screen readers, what about those who are using text based browsers, or who are looking at web for some real content, not just some imagery? Vatican offers no hope to them. Not even a consideration.
Vatican web is so close to being useless, it does even have Unofficial Guide to the Vatican Web Site which is a comprehensive text effort trying to make Vatican web readable.

Few years back, at that time new Vatican web site was a huge thing, so its author Sister Judith was called a “Internet Nun”, and the web site was presented as a huge step forward in to the time, but, unfortunately, when it comes to web design and usability, Adminunstrators should have to make a huge step backward – to the Word!
